My brother and sister-in-law gave me this old secretary desk and I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. If you follow me on Instagram, I shared it moons ago. Then, I shared it again recently because I was tagged to share a #trashure. I’ve always seen secretary desks out and about but, if I ever saw them at thrift stores or sales, it always seemed too pricey just for me to want to have a pretty thing. Either that or it was so cheap it meant I’d have to rebuild the entire thing. They knew I’d love it, transform it, and use it. I’ve said before when I’m looking at various potential projects, I take an item, flipping and spinning it, wondering what other uses can come of it. Just like my basket from a foot stool. Years ago, I saw this stool project. I can only kinda sorta sew but, I was getting a headache just thinking about sewing it. I absolutely loved it though and thought how smart it was.
