Rummage Sale Finds & A Quick Project
Like most DIYers I love a good deal. In other words, I’m extremely cheap. I never know if I’m going to keep a refurbished piece of furniture or a repurposed thrift store find so when it comes to spending money, I want to make sure I’m not going to lose any if I decide to sell. Welcome to Funtastic Friday #124!
We plant a food garden every year but, one thing I haven’t really ventured into as much is decorative plants and flowers. We have quite a few different perennials planted by the previous owners over 10 years ago and I can’t imagine not having them. If the hostas, ferns, and a variety of ground cover weren’t already planted and established, I’m not sure I could have made the front garden area as pretty as I think it is now.
I wouldn’t have been confident enough to know what to plant when and where. Since the front garden is pretty much taken care of, I now realize I don’t need to have confidence and instead I just plant and see what happens.
