Welcome to Funtastic Friday #98!
A couple of weeks ago I said fall was here…I take that back. It’s going to be in the mid to upper 70’s tomorrow and the day after. I’ve been trying to grow luffa for a few years, not to eat but, to use as a sponge and it takes a lot of finesse to grow it in zone 5 which is where we are. Well, I’ve got one luffa pod and I hope these warm sunny days allow it to grow until it’s time to harvest! I’ve tried many times to grow it with no success until this year so fingers crossed! Did you know you could grow luffa, the kind you buy in the beauty aisles?
