String Art Heartbeat on Wooden Hearts
I wasn’t originally going to stain or use string art for these thrift store wooden heart shaped pieces. Instead, I was going to paint them bright colors, writing phrases you find on little candy hearts. I love you. Be mine. I mean it’ll be Valentine’s Day soon so that would have been perfect, right?
At some point, I had the urge to be an adult which is a rarity. I wanted warmth. I wanted to show love. To show what I feel when I think of my husband. Sure, we’re not perfect but, I definitely wouldn’t be imperfect with anyone else. Not that there is a single thing wrong with bright colored wooden hearts. “Fix” Broken Wagon Wheels by Making Them Stationary
I bought this cute little wooden wagon pull toy while out at a local neighborhood garage sale over the summer. It had the alphabet stenciled on it all around and the “axles” connecting the wheels were in bad shape. It was neither a toy nor pull-able at this point. This was an easy trash to treasure makeover! Repurposed Tube TV Shell turned Chalkboard Fun & Organization Station
I have a few repurposing ideas in my head for these old tube TV shells. Problem is, I’ve only found this one in all the years I’ve been garage sale-ing, thrift store-ing, and garbage drive by-ing. I was stunned when I came across it at an estate sale without the TV. For $3, I couldn’t pass it up. I have no idea how you dispose of an old TV but, I’m glad this one was gone.
