Spring has sprung! What better way to bring in the new season than with crazy amounts of Spring DIYs? For me, Spring is the start of my “New Year.” Forget January 1st. With Spring comes new life. Blooms begin to come out of hiding. People emerge from their homes with a spring in their step. Color comes back to your surroundings and toes. Seriously, I’ve had frozen toes for months.

I’m not a fancy person with expensive taste in clothing, lifestyle, or home decor. It just doesn’t fit with our laid back way of living. The biggest thing is I’m not willing to spend lots of money on things just to achieve a look no matter what style it is.  It doesn’t mean I don’t like fancy decor styles. I have yet to really jump on the succulent bandwagon and I don’t know why. Recently, I purchased a moon cactus and if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see I planted my little cactus in an unused neti pot. Note, I said unused 😉 Seeing as I’ll never use the neti pot for it’s original purpose, it just made sense. Welcome to Funtastic Friday #117!

We have a 1 car garage and while it’s packed, Spring is coming soon and we’ll do our twice a year clean up and out. We’ll purge and straighten to make room for working on projects to fill it with more projects. This Spring I really want to create something similar to what Just Measuring Up created. It’s my favorite at this week’s party. They made an awesome folding workbench adding a workspace with storage above. Of course it can be up all the time or folded down to give you more space! I highly recommend you take a look at their very thorough tutorial.
