DIY Rustic Wedding Centerpiece Boxes & 5 Decor Ideas Using Baskets + Funtastic Friday

Welcome to Funtastic Friday #122! I remember our wedding like it was yesterday. While it’s remembered by many as “The best wedding ever,” which I do agree with, I also remember thinking all I wanted to do was get married in our small backyard with a small group of close friends. I envisioned doing everything ourselves. My, how things change once “other people” get involved and before you know it, you’re getting married on a riverboat. Yeah, it was fun πŸ˜‰

I do hope we renew our vows one day and you can bet I will DIY the heck out of it. What got me thinking about all of this wedding planning is my favorite at this week’s party by Interior Frugalista. She made these gorgeous and simple DIY Rustic Wedding Centerpiece Boxes. She’s got other wedding DIYs for you to check out too!

  1. Getting married on a riverboat sounds like the next best thing to a rustic backyard wedding – wow! I’m thrilled you featured my Rustic Centerpiece Boxes and I do hope you’ll be able to make your own some day at that intimate DIY backyard recommitment ceremony. Have a Happy Easter, Angie!

    1. Haha! Nothing had to be decorated on that boat and I think that’s why it was highly suggested πŸ˜‰ No one wanted to DIY anything! Seriously though, I just love these centerpieces and how versatile they are!

  2. My wedding was small & in my parents front yard! Everything was DIY, even my dress. : ) Am I missing something today, because I don’t see the link up for the party. Could just be me!

    1. That’s awesome, Kristie! I wish I could make my own dress πŸ™‚ You aren’t missing anything, I neglected to add the link party code to the post. Thanks for letting me know and sorry I’m just now seeing it!!
