How to Build an Upholstered Bench, A Small Box Makeover, and Funtastic Friday #139

Being a DIYer I have dreams of building a piece of furniture from scratch and for whatever reason, it hasn’t really happened yet. At least not in the areas I’d like. I think our house is perfect really since it’s small and would need more customized pieces to fit throughout. My favorite this week by, Abbotts at Home has me drooling. She made the most gorgeous and chunky legged bench. The tutorial is superb and now I really don’t have an excuse to hold off any longer! Go check it out!

My project this week was an old plywood 2 drawer box. I kicked it up a notch by painting it and adding a retro look to it. It was simple and fun and now I have another spot to store small items.

Small Wooden Box Makeover with a Retro Design

All this little 2 drawer box needed was a retro design makeover. It now has the perfect retro look!Onto the party!
